Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation must be in writing (e-mailed to nwaperture@gmail.com) 

• Refunds vary by "tier" of workshop and how much notice is given: see below 

Refunds to participant when participant cancels (time until workshop):

If NWA cancels (such as due to weather disrupting planned photography), participant may choose between 100% credit toward future workshop or 90% refund. 

Tier-1 (smaller less complex workshops) 

Tier-2 (larger, more complex) 

Note: Tier 2 may have workshop specific cancellation adjustments - such as less also any particular non-reimbursable fees (like passes, reservations, etc. which we have to eat). 

Sample Liability Waiver Language:

• All participants will be expected to sign a liability waiver upon arrival to the workshop. Some sample Language is below:

By signing this WAIVER AND RELEASE, I fully and forever release, waive and discharge, and covenant not to sue, Northwest Aperture LLC or any of its members or employees from any and all demands, claims, actions, suits, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including, but not limited to, court costs and attorney's fees) from any cause whatsoever (including, but not limited to, travel delays, property damage and loss, bodily injuries, sickness, disease and death) directly or indirectly arising in connection with my participation in a Northwest Aperture LLC Workshop. 

I understand and confirm that by signing this WAIVER AND RELEASE I have given up considerable future legal rights. I have signed this agreement freely, voluntarily, under no duress.  My signature is proof of my intention to execute a complete and unconditional WAIVER AND RELEASE of all liability to the full extent of the law. I am 18 year of age or older and mentally competent to enter into this waiver.
