About the Workshop
After purchase, participants will receive additional workshop details.
This is like 12 workshops in 3 days! All the planning, locations, tips, and more are provided for an unforgettable photography excursion. Similar guided excursions from other groups cost typically $1,500 to $2,000.
The Northwest Aperture team will lead you on a very special workshop in a very special place. The southern Oregon coast features an abundance of amazing sea stacks, landscapes, wildlife, stunning sunrises and sunsets, and much more. Even some astrophotography is included (weather permitting).
Learn to see more creatively through your camera, experiment with composition, choose the right lens, the importance of shutter speed and aperture, and how they affect an image and are used for creative effects. Most importantly, you will discover the different properties of natural light and how it affects your photographs.
Included with the Workshop
Personal attention: this workshop is limited in participants in order to provide individual instruction.
On-site instruction: how to successfully capture stunning landscape images with the right exposure, focusing techniques, shooting for exposure blending, and much more.
Post-workshop instruction: 2-hour Zoom class covering choosing and editing your best photos (including exposure blending) and tips for your next adventure.
The Fine Print
Travel & accommodation: participants are responsible for their own transportation & lodging. To coordinate with other participants, such as potential car-pooling, you may start a discussion on the Facebook events page for the event. With workshop instructions, you will also receive some tips & suggestions on lodging.
Waiver: participants will be required to sign a waiver at the workshop. See full terms and conditions here.
Weather: weather can be a factor, especially on the Oregon coast. But bad weather can be very good for photography. Come prepared for wind and rain just in case.
